RunGo Provides Step-by-Step Instructions for Scenic and Creative Running Routes
Android / iOS: It can be tricky to stay on track when you’re trying a new running route. RunGo solves this problem with step-by-step instructions. They offer city tours that take you through scenic and historic sites, and even some funny figures like Darth Vader’s face upstairs. You can also create your own.
RunGo routes include a tour of the National Mall in Washington, DC, and the route of the trail Wildwood in Portland, Oregon. Famous races are also in the database – here is the New York Marathon .
I took RunGo for a test run this morning. He guided me to a winding path with turn-by-turn directions at key points, although this does not replace being able to read track markings . If you deviate from the route, the app will not recalculate your path. But it shows you a map with the route marked in blue and where you were in red, so it was easy for me to get back on track.
