Storm It Lets You Post Long Tweets As “Tweetstorms”
Android: In Twitter parlance, a “tweet storm” is a string of multiple tweets to be read as one long message. Basically, it’s a way to get around the character limit on Twitter signatures, and Storm It helps automate the process when you just have something to say.
Keep in mind that posting a million tweets in quick succession can annoy your followers, but maybe you just have a brilliant story to share. Storm It takes your long message and splits it into chunks that are no more than 140 characters long. You can also add a generic numeric designation, meaning that each tweet is part of a longer post, i.e. 1/20 if your post is twenty tweets. Then, when your perfectly composed rant is ready, shoot. It even stores tweets in the same reply thread, so the entire tweet storm is easy to follow on Twitter. However, proceed with caution; nobody likes an overly torn tweeter.
