Create an Auto-Updating Digital Photo Frame With Raspberry Pi and Google Photos
We already know that a great photo frame can be made from a Raspberry Pi , but master Paul Stamatiu took it one step further and integrated it into Google Photos.
Stamatiu took the frame, shoved a small display inside, attached the Raspberry Pi to the back, and then created a script to upload to Google Photos. The end result is a digital photo frame that automatically uploads new photos and cycles through them every 10 minutes. It’s a pretty nifty little project that isn’t too complicated, especially if you’re using Google Photos. Check out the Stamatiou website for a complete guide to doing this for yourself.
