An Easy Way to Make Grilled Cheese Fries With Garlic
Hey, do you like garlic cheese fries? Cool, the same. The good thing is that you can learn this very easy way to cook something at your next BBQ or car camping from the Delish staff.
To get started, you need aluminum foil and frozen fries. While they don’t mention it, freshly cut potatoes will probably work too (but cooking times may vary). The aluminum foil will serve as your container for storing your heavenly, garlic gifts, so divide the fries and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Wrap it and cover with foil.
Place pinned aluminum foil bags on a grill over medium to high heat (or over coals) and cook for 20 minutes. Open them from time to time to scatter the fries and prevent them from sticking. When the fries are golden brown, remove the hot bags from the heat and carefully open them. While still hot, add the chopped garlic, stir and add the cheese mixture, green onions, and other additives (like bacon!).
As the guy in the video eloquently put it: “Yeah, french fries.”
