Tweetbot Adds Timeline Filters to Give You Full Control Over Your Twitter Feed
iOS: Tweetbot received an update today with a new feature called timeline filters. This allows you to customize filters for specific content to truly tailor your feed to your needs.
Filters may seem a little confusing at first glance, but once you use them, they are actually pretty good. You can set up a few basic filters that dynamically sort Tweets by type, such as media, links, hashtags, quotes, and more. It’s a great way to quickly see what links your friends are posting without digging through the entire feed. In addition, you can also set up filters to view tweets on a specific topic, such as “iOS 10”. Basically, it’s the opposite of the mute feature, which only allows you to see tweets about a specific topic.
