Clean Dirty Brushes With One Click With a Fork
Brushes should be kept clean and dry when storing, but wiping off all paint from the bristles can be frustrating. Instead of using your hands or buying a comb, use a fork to pierce the bristles.
After rinsing your brush to remove the outer layer of paint, run a fork over the bristles to rinse off the rest so your brushes are as clean as possible next time. If possible, use a fork with long tines to leave more room between the tines to penetrate the brush. This small adjustment to your brushing technique will help keep your brushes in top condition and prevent the paint clumps on the bristles from drying out, making them difficult to reuse in the future.
