JetBlue asked one of its pilots where to find the quietest seat on the plane. In the video, he said:
When you sit on the wings forward, there is less noise. Most aircraft have engines located under the wings. Sitting in front of a wing is like sitting at a speaker. All engine sounds and interfering air are emitted from you … For a quieter ride, find a seat in front of the cab.
If motion sickness bothers you, the front of the plane is also a good seating position, but you can also sit in the middle where the wing is located. According to experts , this is the quietest area of the aircraft.
