Tie Your Fish Hook Perfectly With a Modified Clinch Knot.
A good fishing knot will be very strong and will keep the hook from moving in the water. The Modified Clinch Knot does exactly that, and you can learn how to tie it in less than two minutes.
In this ITS Tactical YouTube video, Brian Black uses a large fish hook and some rope to demonstrate a knot that can be used on hooks, spinners, swivels, and other types of bait. Start by threading the line through the eye of your fishing hook, then loop about five turns around the line. Slide the bandages to tighten them, and thread the end of the line through a small loop between the top of the fishhook’s ear, not through it, and the bandages you just assembled. Now pull the line through the loop you just made and tighten it. That’s all! Get the bait and you’re ready to fish.
