Desktop With Bokeh Effect With Two Monitors
We don’t have enough dual-monitor desktops in our desktop showcase , so when we see one – especially one as beautiful as this one – we have to highlight it. Best of all, there is nothing special about it and is easy to customize if you have two of your own displays. Here’s how.
The Reader Tool with no interesting name presented this and used Rainmeter to get the job done. If you are not familiar with Rainmeter, we have a getting started guide to help.
When you do this, or want to try it yourself, here’s what you need:
- Wallpaper
- Tool setting and monitoring system for Rainmeter for Windows
- Drizzle skin for Rainmeter for time and date effects
- Rainmeter VisBubble skin for the renderer all the way to the right on the right display
- Cleartext skin for Rainmeter to display “Today marks”
That’s all there is to know about it! It’s crisp and simple, and adds a bit of personality to a clean desktop that’s otherwise ready to go. If you like the way it looks, check out the Kinja blog at the link below to let Tool without an interesting name know what you think and what you like, how it all turned out.
Do you have a beautiful and functional desktop to show off? Share with us! Post it to your personal Kinja blog using the Desktop Showcase tag or add it to our Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell Flickr pool . Screenshots must be at least 1280×720 and include information about what you used, links to wallpapers, skins and themes, and any other important information. If your wonderful desktop catches our attention, you may be on our favorites!
