Evernote for Android Adds Annotations, Automatically Detects Note Types
Android: Evernote has added several new tricks for users who scan notes. The app can now automatically detect things like business cards and notes. You can also add annotations to the pictures you take.
In previous versions of Evernote, you had to manually select modes such as Post-It and Business Card. Now you can take a photo and Evernote will automatically detect what type of note you took. You still need Evernote Premium to scan your notes in certain modes, but it’s a little easier now.
The larger addition comes with annotations. After taking a photo, you can add arrows, text, pointers, pixelate specific sections and outlines. You can edit most of the annotations later, although it seems that the pixelated portions of the image cannot be undone (for obvious reasons).
