Boomerang for Outlook Releases Read Receipts, Desktop Calendar Integration
Boomerang is a great tool that allows you to schedule emails to be sent at a later date or time. Today they released some useful updates to the Outlook : a notice reading and integration with Desktop Outlook.
In a blog post on updates, Boomerang explains that its new read receipt feature works across all platforms and devices. In addition, they do not track or share IP addresses, devices, locations or other sensitive information on their read receipts. According to the release, all that is included in the report is the time when your email was opened. You can enable or disable this feature directly from your email.
In addition, the new release makes it easier to access the Boomerang Calendar Assistant so you can schedule appointments and send invitations. Boomerang will now be integrated directly into the Ribbon in Desktop Outlook, making it easier to access calendar features. Here’s a video of the service in action:
