Slice a Whole Banana or Avocado at Once Using a Metal Cooling Rack

This YouTube video by DaveHax shows you how to quickly slice bananas and / or avocados with two items you probably already have in your kitchen. Take a large bowl and place a metal rack on top for cooling. Then peel off one side of the banana and press it against the wire rack to cool. The wire rack will instantly cut the banana into several pieces. You can do the same with an avocado and get your guac ready for the party quickly.
