Turn Leftover Herbs Into Do-It-Yourself Incense
If you grow your own herbs like sage and rosemary, you will probably get more than you can use in your cooking. Do not let them – and all of these wonderful aromatic substances – wasted, turns them into incense own hands (also known as for spreading sticks ).
You use these additional herbs and get free fragrant incense to use at home or as a gift. All you need is fresh herbs (sage, rosemary, and lavender are especially good, even if you buy them at the grocery store) and some cotton twine or twine.
Wrap the herbs in a bunch (see the link below for specific instructions, but you get the gist from the photo above) and hang it to air dry in a cool place. This will take several weeks, so plan ahead if you want to donate incense. Light the bundle, they will blow out the flame so it can be used. You can also use the beam as a firelighter, it will add aromatic notes to the smoke from the fire.
