Rest of the Day: Comcast Increases Data Limit From 300GB to Terabyte
I love to have fun on the Internet, but sometimes I get too much fun and my ISP gets pissed off. In fact, Comcast has a data limit of 300GB per month! But they finally succumb to complaints about this very arbitrary limitation and increase it to a large terabyte.
- We all know data limiting is arbitrary nonsense , right? Comcast is finally giving up a bit and is increasing its monthly data limit to one terabyte from 300 gigabytes . (If you go over the limit, you will pay an additional $ 10 for every additional 50 GB.) But they also increase the price of unlimited data, which will now cost you $ 50 on top of your internet package. This change will be nationwide by June 1. [Ars Technica]
