Space for Work and Play in One Room

The lorby351 workspace is tucked away in the living room wall , but that doesn’t mean it’s fuzzy, well-organized, and perfect for getting settled in for work or play. Here are some more photos.

The above image shows the desk area, and while lorby351 has some great shots of the entire room, they don’t say too much about its contents. However, from what we can see, the dual display setup is docked to the right of the piano and the left to the table, the dual display setup with a monitor arm coming out on the right side and cables neatly routed between the displays, the Ducky Shine keyboard is on table, the Corsair Vengence MMO Gaming Mouse on top of the table and the CM Storm Stryker case underneath.

Here’s another shot leading into a room where you can see the entertainment center (and it’s cute offset lighting behind the TV, just like the lighting behind the monitors above):

Here’s a snapshot of the entire room where you can see exactly how little space the workspace takes up in the corner and the rest of the entertainment center. The HD LCD TV is located at the top of the entertainment center in front of the couch, but the good eye will notice the projector in the upper right corner and the screen attached to the ceiling on the left, ideal for when a larger screen is needed – movie nights? Perhaps guests? Anyway, I also dig into the cable wrapping that slips right under the entertainment center rug.

Overall, it’s a great setup, clean, crisp, and while the workspace itself doesn’t take up too much space, a single theme makes the entire room a great place to work or relax and unwind. … Click on the Flickr link below to jump to the first photo in this series and check it out for yourself.

If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
