Typically, purification of sandpaper used cleaner for a grinding belt or “means for saving an emery paper.” Cleaning the sandpaper with a sander prolongs its life, improves the finish, and reduces the likelihood that the sandpaper will cause burns or marks on sanded items. However, if you don’t have a sandpaper attachment or don’t want to pay for one, you can simply use the bottom of your old tennis shoe. Place the rubber outsole of the shoe against the sandpaper while the sand is running and it will clean up all the debris to make it almost new again.
