National Parks Week – Free Admission for Everyone
This year, the National Park Service celebrates its 100th anniversary by providing free admission to everyone during National Parks Week from April 16-24. This means that now is a great time to go outside and explore our national lands, parks and monuments.
National Parks Week means you can visit 400 parks for free that are part of the national park system , including beautiful outdoor areas, national parks, historic sites and monuments. You will most likely run into a crowd as everyone loves free admission, but if you plan a little ahead of time or live near one of the suitable lots, you can take advantage of this for a day trip or weekend getaway, or you can choose a national park that not necessarily a huge tourist magnet to enjoy. Find a park near you by visiting Find Your Park .
