Rest of the Day: Android N Developer Preview 2 Available
If you are a fan of beta testing, you have a fresh build of the latest Android software. Nothing mind-blowing about this new version, but it has a more “human-looking” emoji!
- A new build of Android N is available to beta testers. The second build has multiracial emoji (as well as new Unicode 9 emoji that Apple hasn’t yet implemented), a new 3D rendering API called Vulkan, and of course fewer bugs. But I’m just for emoticons. [Android Developers Blog]
- Now you can watch the entire Vine channel at the touch of a button , without scrolling. Just go to the channel or account you want to watch and click the Watch button. I will be watching this bongo dog for the next few hours. [Blog Vine]
- Sling TV has a new $ 20 streaming package targeting Fox channels . In addition to the regular Sling channels like CNN and AMC, $ 20 a month also gets you Fox Sports, FX and YES Network. However, this package does not include Disney channels like ESPN. You can also stream this package to three devices at the same time. [The Verge]
- Snapchat has some new emoji stickers that can attach to an object in a scene and intelligently track it. Kind of like those face tracking filters, but for everyday items. Like:
