Leftover spaghetti or Alfredo might seem like an easy idea for a work lunch, but microwaving it in a Tupperware container doesn’t always give you the tastiest results. Fortunately, simply adding a little water can make a huge difference.

According to Bon Appetit, the key to a perfectly lively pasta is to splash one or two tablespoons of water into a container, cover it lightly, and microwave for 90 seconds at a time, stirring until beautiful and hot. Cover and shake the pasta well to coat each noodles evenly with the sauce. (Be careful; accumulated steam can escape from the lid, so try to relieve pressure more often.)
