There are some great projects you can do with Arduino , and if you’re just starting out, you might want to use someone else’s code . However, as shown in the video above, you can also create your own simple apps for your Arduino project using the MIT App Inventor.
Dejan Nedelkowski uses two examples: driving a simple LED and driving a stepper motor. In a 9-minute tutorial, you’ll see how to connect MIT App Inventor to your phone and add the functionality you need. The tutorial is a little faster and you probably want to check out Nedelkowski’s previous tutorials if you don’t know how to connect your phone to an Arduino board via Bluetooth.
