Wrap the Camera Strap Securely so That Extra Strap Does Not Get in the Way
Wrapping a camera strap around a camera seems simple enough, but often you end up with a little extra strap that will dangle around or it won’t feel too secure. On YouTube, ShotKit demonstrates its neat defense method.
ShotKit starts by removing the buckles and flipping them over. He then passes the end of the strap into the chamber from the outside to the inside, through the retainer, and then through the inside of the buckle. The video above demonstrates exactly how this works. This should maintain a good appearance of the strap, without any hanging “pieces”.
