The Rest of the Day: Apple Fixes IOS 9.3 for IPad 2
Earlier this week, Apple had a case on Monday when they released iOS 9.3 and some iPad 2 users ended up locked out of their tablets. But TGIF! Now there is a fix.
- Apple just released a build of iOS 9.3 specifically for the iPad 2 , which previously had an activation error. There’s also an issue with older devices where users get locked out if they can’t remember their Apple ID password – and while this 9.3 re-release doesn’t fix that problem, Apple offers some help here . - Security researchers have discovered a vulnerability in OS X that could allow hackers to bypass Apple’s core protection. As is often the case with these vulnerabilities, there is little you can do while a patch is in development, but it is unlikely to be used in the wild. [The Next Web]
