You Can Now Upload HD Photos to Facebook From Android

Facebook has frustratingly limited options when it comes to sharing high quality photos . Fortunately, it gets better. Android users can now download HD photos directly from the mobile app.

According to Android Police, Facebook is currently rolling out this option as a server-side toggle (meaning you won’t see it just because you updated the Facebook app). To enable HD image uploads, go to the app settings on Facebook and toggle the “Upload HD Photos” switch as shown above.

Please note that this will not upload full-resolution versions of your photos. The maximum size for high-quality Facebook images is about 2048 pixels wide . Your images will also be compressed to a certain extent, but downloading in HD should be an improvement over what you’re used to.
