The Rest of the Day: Yahoo Mail Gets Extended Link Previews
Yahoo Mail lives on! The service just got a nice little update that allows you to embed preview links in emails. And don’t roll your eyes just because the company might be in trouble; Yahoo Mail still has many users.
- Yahoo Mail just got a great update . When you paste the link into an email, they turn into preview cards (similar to how the link is displayed on Facebook), but these preview cards also allow inline media playback. [Yahoo]
- Microsoft has extended support for Skylake processors running Windows 7 or 8.1 for another year, until July 17, 2017 . Thereafter, Microsoft will only offer full support for Skylake processors and their successors on Windows 10, as previously announced . [Ars Technica]
