T-Mobile Adds YouTube to Its Service
You can now watch YouTube videos on T-Mobile regardless of your data plan. T-Mobile’s Binge On service allows users to stream videos from selected partners in limited quality without affecting data caps.
YouTube has agreed to partner with a rather controversial operator service that defies traditional notions of net neutrality. T-Mobile also gives more control to users and video partners, allowing them to opt out of free downgraded streams if higher quality video is preferred (although quality above 480p counts towards your plan).
