Waze Adds Scheduled Drives to Estimate Travel Times and Help You Determine the Best Time to Check Out
iPhone: Waze has updated its iPhone app with a new feature that estimates what traffic will be on any given day at any given time, helping you plan your day accordingly.
A feature called Planned Trips lets you choose your destination and the day you want to go. Waze then estimates an approximate travel time based on cumulative traffic history. If you set an arrival time, Waze will notify you when you need to leave based on traffic conditions at the moment. You can also just view the average travel time, which will make planning things a bit easier or when is the best time to travel. Of course, traffic is always changing, but that at least helps to avoid rush hours. The update will be released for iOS first, followed by Android later.
