LastPass Authenticator Simplifies Two-Factor Authentication for LastPass Users
Android / iOS: Two-factor authentication is becoming more and more important in a world filled with high-profile hacks . LastPass is taking this feature seriously with the release of a new 2FA-enabled app to manage all of your accounts.
The app works the same way as our favorite two-factor authentication app Authy . When setting up an account that supports Google Authenticator, you can scan the QR code with LastPass Authenticator instead of storing your tokens in the app. Naturally, you can also protect your LastPass vault with two-factor authentication.
When you need to log into one of your 2FA-enabled services, you can open the app to copy the code, or you can receive a push notification to enter the code with one tap.
