Android: Waze, one of our favorite mapping apps , has released a new version for Android today. Waze 4.0 comes with a completely new interface, smart reminders based on your calendar events, and more.
The new design aims to ensure that you drive with the minimum number of taps and that the most important functions are at your fingertips (which means more time watching the road). Waze also comes with a new ETA dashboard that shows you and organizes alternative routes so you can check if another route is right, options for adding a stop on your current route, and quick buttons to send your ETA to friends and family, not just those. who uses Waze.
