All-White Vertical Workspace
We’ve seen awesome monochrome workspaces, but if that’s too much of a problem, you can still appreciate the simplicity of a space like this. ReaderPljohns has built this small workspace that extends upward rather than outward, while keeping everything well-lit and organized. Check out some more photos below.
The photo at the top of the article was taken in good lighting. The pljohns actually have softer, bluer lighting for those nights when you need to work until the evening. You can check it out below – the photo notes say pljohns uses Philips Hue Bloom to get this blue effect, and you can actually see the light right there in the center of the workspace.
So all this is good, but how can he save the cables and everything below from a slight nightmare? Well, check out the flash photo below. Just below the desk surface, there is a small drawer for all appliances and equipment, including a router, USB hub, external hard drives, extension cord, Mac Mini, and various other cables and connectors.
That’s not all, this photo shows a poster about sweet coffee hanging in the upper right corner and this one gives us a glimpse of autographed soccer and the bookshelf it lives on. Overall, it is well organized and nicely decorated, especially for being homemade.
If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
