Build a Retro Gaming Desk on the Cheap With No IKEA for $ 10 and a Raspberry Pi
We’ve already shown you how to build a retro gaming table before, but if you’re looking for something a little cheaper, Element14 demonstrates how to build a table mounted on an IKEA Lack table.
The Element14 tutorial uses a Raspberry Pi 3 to power the brain and then an Arduino Leonardo to control a joystick. From there, you just need to install on your old 17-inch LCD monitor, plug in a couple of cheap speakers, and then put it all together. The Lack is such a cheap table that it is very easy to disassemble and repurpose, and is available in a wide variety of colors. As far as things like this go, this is one of the simplest gaming tables we’ve seen. Go to Element14 for a complete guide.
