Turn Leftover Rice Into Crispy Delicious Rice Waffles
Leftover fried rice can be quite tasty on its own, but if you want to turn it into a completely different snack, try mashing it with waffles.
The waffle maker can be used to make all kinds of creative snacks , and these leftover rice waffles are a delicious example. This suggestion comes through Kitchn where they explain:
The result is very crispy and crunchy on the outside, but warm and chewy on the inside. If you don’t have leftover rice on hand, you can of course make a fresh waffle pot, but rice waffles tend to stick together better and are easier to remove from the iron when you work during the day. -old rice, as it has dried out a little and cooled down.
You can try this with leftover fried rice as shown in the video, but regular rice will work too. And if you don’t have a waffle iron, you can always try these rice cakes , which are easy enough to make.
