Some Users Can Now Subscribe to Podcasts on Google Play Music
Google has been experimenting with the idea of adding podcasts to its Play Music service for a while, but now it seems like the company has finally flipped the switch. Anyway, for some users.
According to Android Police, some users can now view, subscribe and listen to podcasts through the Play Music app on Android. The new feature doesn’t seem to be tied to the new version of the app, so it’s most likely a server side switch. This means that either Google is doing A / B testing for multiple users (usually reserved for minor things like UI tweaks) or, more likely, the feature is slowly rolling out.
