Turn an IKEA Drawer Into a Cubby File Drawer
Need somewhere to store your files but have limited storage space? This inexpensive project puts those files away in a popular corner of IKEA.
User acoens Instructables offers step-by-step instructions. In addition to the IKEA Expedit cabinet and the Expedit single drawer insert, you will need metal rods and two L-shaped corner brackets, as well as some standard tools.
Although Expedit is now no longer available, you can do the same with the new Kallax system. The entire project takes about an hour, after which you can hide your files in plain sight.
