Change Dropbox Sync Icon to Anything on OS X
The Dropbox sync icon is a handy way to easily see which folders are syncing to Dropbox. If you don’t like the boring old Dropbox checkbox, Jacob Salmela shows you how to change it.
On the surface, the process simply requires you to replace one set of icons with another. Of course, it’s not that simple, especially if you want it to look good. To do this, you need to edit existing icons and add your own high quality versions. Salmela shows you how to do this with Pixelmator, although it should be done in almost any image editing program.
