Pasta Per Pot Is Easy to Prepare, Filling and Virtually No Washing
Weekday evenings are busy enough that you don’t have to spend hours planning, preparing and cleaning dinner. Try this pasta in one skillet for a fresh meal that will fill you up while cutting back on meals.
This method is based on cooking pasta in a pan and then using starchy water as a base for the sauce. You will need pasta, fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, paprika flakes, fresh basil, olive oil, just that much water, salt, pepper and parmesan (although, to be honest, everything except pasta, onions, garlic and tomatoes is really a matter of taste .) Place everything except the cheese in a high-walled skillet or Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Use the tongs to turn the pasta over every few minutes, stirring all the ingredients gently until the pasta is done. Top with cheese and snack.
Of course, you can also customize this recipe to pair with what’s in your pantry, like canned white beans or other dried herbs. The real key is the amount of water used. You need enough to cook the pasta and serve as a base for the sauce, but not enough to make it watery. The complete recipe, including how much water and how much pasta is suitable, can be found at the link below.
