Camera MX Bringing IOS Style Live Photos to Android
Android: There are many alternative camera apps on Android, so it’s difficult to single out them. Camera MX is doing a pretty good job, most recently adding Live Shots, which let you shoot short videos in an easy-to-share format.
Similar to how Live Photos work on iOS, you can use Camera MX to shoot short clips that need to loop in place. When you take a photo, the app takes a single shot, and also shoots some frames a few seconds before the shutter is released in order to take a short shot in time. Camera MX will loop the shot multiple times and turn it into MP4 format that is easy to share.
