Create a Magic Mirror With Raspberry Pi and Old Monitor
One of the branded devices in almost every version of Hollywood blockbusters of the future is a smart mirror that shows the daily schedule, clock, weather and other important updates. Blogger Dylan Pearce built his own Raspberry Pi based computer.
The project here is a bit tricky, but not overly complex. He takes a two-way mirror, places a monitor behind it, and then powers it all up with a Raspberry Pi running in Chromium kiosk mode. This means it pulls data from a web server configured on the Pi, so you can easily upgrade and create your own display with a little programming skill. We saw a similar project before using an old Android device , but the Pi version allows you to work with much larger sizes as it is only limited by the size of the monitor or TV.
