Press and Hold the Plus Button on IOS Photos to Create a New Folder
Organizing your photos into albums on iOS is easy, but even if you do it often, things get pretty cumbersome. Fortunately, you can put these albums in folders, but creating one of them is a little hidden. Finer Things in Tech found it with a long press of the + button.
When you just press the + button, you create a new album, but if you long press on it, you get the option to create a new folder. Within this new folder, you can add multiple albums, although there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this retroactively with the albums you’ve already created. However, it’s a nice little organizational trick that makes it a little easier to organize your work.
