Create Your Own Alarm Clock and Speaker on Your Smartphone
If you use your smartphone as an alarm clock, it is probably just uncomfortably sitting on the bedside table, the power cord dangles, ready to wake you up not by tone, but by terrible vibration sounds. The clock here contains a speaker and an amplifier, so when you plug in your phone, it will wake you up with a much nicer sound than what your smartphone’s speaker makes. It’s also set up so that you can use it with your current phone, or just use your old one. You will need access to a laser cutter to get the same perfect cuts as his, but this can be easily handled by the hacker space or a third party company. From there, you just need to collect it. After all, this is a pretty fun and cheap project and you will appreciate your DIY spirit every morning when you wake up.
