Essentially, Cathode mimics the Terminal with extremely retro effects. This means making it look like an old school computer. You can insanely customize all of these effects by changing color, horizontal sync, and more. We briefly covered Cathode a long time ago , but it wasn’t exactly a suitable terminal emulator. It is much closer nowadays and can do pretty much anything most of us need in Terminal, and it also gives you a nostalgic grin every time you use it.
