Meetbug Makes It Easy to Find a Time and Place to Chat With Friends
Internet: There are a ton of services that promise to make meeting scheduling easier, but Meetbug makes the whole thing so easy that you don’t feel like you’re struggling to find the right time – you’ll just love to look forward to spending time with your friends again.
Meetbug starts with a simple screen for creating your event. Enter what you want to do, such as “meet for coffee,” and the service will suggest multiple titles, such as “Let’s meet for coffee!” or “Let’s talk over coffee,” just to spice up your invitation. Use the calendar to add multiple dates, then the sliders on the left to suggest specific times for those dates. Once you’re done, save your invitation – this is where the service asks you to sign up for an account in order to save your invitation and send it out to other people. Each invite gets a unique link, so you can email it to your friends (who will need to register to vote on the date and time and add their own suggestions, so keep that in mind.)
Once your friends click on the link, the service really shines. They can simply vote for a date and time, suggest locations, or go to the chat that Meetbug creates for your event and speak to you live, suggesting reviews and alternative dates, times, or locations. If you all join at once, you can chat or everyone can leave messages that you can check later.
The service is completely free and surprisingly fun to use. It would be nice for Meetbug to connect to Google Calendar or Facebook events, but that’s probably the next step. However, this is useful right now. Try the link below.
