Liven up Your Holiday Meal With Spiked Cranberry Sauce

If you’re looking for a fun way to spice up your adult-only holiday meal, you can add some vodka and orange-flavored liqueur to your cranberry sauce.

On the Food Network Blog, Sarah Levine and the Food Network Kitchen team offer a great way to turn a holiday meal into a holiday party. In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of unscented gelatin, 2 tablespoons of orange liqueur, and 1/3 cup of vodka. Then take some canned cranberry sauce and whisk until not very gel-like. Add booze and whisk again. You can serve it as is, or if you like the sliced, jelly-like texture of canned cranberry sauce, you can put it back in an empty can of cranberry sauce and wait for it to harden again. If you don’t want to consume alcohol with your meals, you can also make cranberry sauce, which also makes a delicious jam . You can find the full how-to video at the link below.
