Make It Easier to Open Sticky Cans With Vaseline
Not being able to open a can can be frustrating, but fighting the one you’ve fought with before is even worse. To prevent this, apply a little petroleum jelly to the jar after you open it the first time .
If you have a jar full of something sticky (like jam or sauce), it can get caught in the threads of the jar and make it difficult to open later. Dab some Vaseline on the clean threads of the jar so you don’t have to struggle to open it every time. If it is not obvious, use just as much as you need so that excess jelly does not end up in the jar.
