Sometimes it takes more than a few sessions to complete a large drawing project. With this handy trick, you can keep your brush and touch up the paint a little fresh between sessions.
In this video from youtuber jimmydiresta, you will learn tons of great tips for working with brushes and paint cans, including a very easy way to store paint for retouching (about 2:40 in the video). Just fill an empty food can with a little paint, add the brush you used to touch up, and then cover the can with a latex glove. You can even leave this glove in your drawing kit to use it multiple times or until it breaks. When it’s time to clean up your retouching brush , a little know-how will help you avoid wasting paint thinner.
