Make the Tree Fuller With a Garland
There is nothing wrong with Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree. But if your tree looks a little bare and you want to add a little puffiness, a garland is for you.
To give the tree a bit of fullness, you can use a garland or a simple wreath. The 3 Little Greenwoods blog on 6.5 “tree and 24” wreath explains:
… I started transforming the fake tree by removing the top and middle parts of the fake tree and fluffing up the wreaths. With the first wreath, I whipped the greens around the perimeter, making sure that the branches twisted to the outside and inside of the wreath. When it was ready, I placed it on the top third of the bottom third of the tree and then snapped the middle of the tree into place.
The second wreath fluffed up well, but I directed the branches into the wreath. This reduced the circumference of the wreath to fit the shape of the tree …
This is a fairly simple tip and is ideal if you have a fake tree that isn’t filling up completely. This also works if you are buying a live bare tree (they are usually cheaper). Check out the rest of the post at the link below.
