Create Miniature Interactive Artwork With Raspberry Pi and Touchscreen
Processing is a programming language that allows people to create visual art (among other things) through programming, and it recently released a version that runs on the Raspberry Pi. Adafruit has compiled a guide on how to install on the Pi and use their touchscreen.
This project works on several levels. First, it serves as a good introduction to processing, which is a great starting point for those new to programming. Second, it will show you how to create a small interactive display that looks a lot like a miniature art exhibit. You can even connect the Pi to a breadboard to control different lights and colors. Visit Adafruit for a complete guide.
