Business Insider’s Rachel Gillette analyzed data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and found the 25 highest-paying jobs that you can find work without ever stepping on college campus. Here are some of the best potential clients:
- Transportation, Storage and Distribution Managers : Average annual salary is $ 81,830, with 29,100 vacancies planned until 2022.
- First-line police and detective chiefs: Average annual salary is $ 78,270, with 35,700 jobs planned by 2022.
- Elevator installers and repairers : Average annual wages of $ 76,650, with an estimated 8,000 jobs created by 2022.
- Nuclear Power Reactor Operators : Average annual salary of $ 74,990, with 2,300 vacancies planned until 2022.
- Detectives and Criminal Investigators : Average annual salary is $ 74,300, with 27,700 job openings expected by 2022.
Other excellent positions include real estate brokers, claims settlement specialists, gambling managers, power plant operators, and commercial airline pilots. However, keep in mind that just because this job does not require a college degree does not mean that it is easier to obtain.
