Soften Dried Fruit With Some Hot Water (or Booze)
Dried fruit should be dry, but I recently found dried cranberries in my closet that changed the genre. I was going to throw them away (they hurt my teeth!), But Kitsch convinced me not to; all they need is some hot liquid.
To moisten overly shriveled fruits, place them in a bowl, pour boiling water over them and leave for 10-15 minutes. Better yet, swap out boring water for an addictive drink. In fact, why eat fruit flavored fruit when you can eat bourbon flavored fruit?
