Instantly Set up a Tor Proxy on Your Raspberry Pi Using a Script
We’ve seen that it used to be pretty easy to set up a Raspberry Pi as a Tor proxy , but it takes a little bit of know-how and time to get it up and running. If you’re looking for an easy way out, GitHub user CMoncur has written some scripts to automate the process.
With the CMoncur tutorial, you can create the exact same Tor proxy created by Adafruit above with fewer steps. The scripts mainly automate the installation process and most of the downloads. This greatly simplifies the project for beginners or for people who simply have little free time. You will still need to set up everything for your personal network, but it is much easier than creating one from scratch. From now on, you will have your own Tor proxy server to help make your browsing safer.
