Temporarily Secure the Broken Necklace Clasp With a Paper Clip
Don’t let a broken clasp get in the way of putting on your favorite necklace. Use a paperclip to make the necklace wearable again until you get a new clasp.
Pass a paperclip through the ring that connects the clasp to the chain. Continue until the ring is in the middle of the paperclip. Then, when you want to put on the choker, slide the other side of the clasp (the looped part) over the paperclip and stop when it comes to the first bend.
This should hold your necklace together until you can replace the broken clasp with one of your local jewelry or craft stores. If you do not have pliers to replace the clasp yourself, most jewelry store staff will happily do it for you (especially if you bought the clasp from them).
